Promise of a new world.

The world of the senses has run me ragged. The weariness tore me away.

One day, not so long ago, the world and I began to move at a different speed. Still close, right here. But I'm not very interested.

I've slowed, floating on an inner current, flowing, going nowhere.

Sinking, the gurgling sounds just above me, the sunlight a vector, an unchanging stillness, a direction becomes dance, the promise of a new world.

The oldest, essential, purpose, preserved... in the deep, dark, depths of my heart.

The One who slept

Look! Wow!!

(A gentle hand). Be still. Smile. Find wholeness within.

Oh! Oh no!

(A reassuring touch). Be still. Smile. Find contentment within.

God is at play here.

The entirety of God is here. I find it inside. Always here for me.

At last I can catch myself at the start of the surge toward or away from. Soon after an instant in which I have travelled so far, and not at all.

My dharana: I look around with a new awareness, strengthened each day with practice.

There is only One here.

My dharana: All of this, including me, is One. How peaceful it is to have no other. Endless, perfect solitude. This unity consciousness surges through me as great bliss.

How my Lord loves to be found, observed and known with the awakening gaze of one who has slept.

I awaken in Your arms.

Nowhere left

I turned around and there was nowhere left to go.

Everything I touch and see

I no longer feel torn between the world and my true destination.

I have said my goodbyes.

To myself, to everything I say hello.

Everything I touch and see is You. All of this is Your body. Sacred.

No longer crawling

Somewhere, I am here

My body is so relaxed.

No longer crawling to a distant shore.

From before

When you look around with eyes closed
what do you see?

When you feel more is near, somehow,
someone...

Presence.  Flow.

No words. No names. From before.

Nothing that can be more new to me,

But together, we are so very old.

Made for this

I return to the mantra after socializing for a few hours.

A feeling of relief in mind and body, and the sweetness like a fragrance in my mind.

I no longer fear I have lost my way, or that I am incapable of real progress.

The mantra makes my being sing. I am made for this.

Stepping out of multiplicity

When I step out of multiplicity, I see only one all around me, including "me," little me.

I am. There are no outer senses. I feel that I am. I feel bliss, and a great peace. Wonder, playfulness, joy. The burning desire to love and worship God, my source.

I do not see or hear. No taste, no touch or feeling sensation.

I am not heavy or light. Not cold or hot.

There is only my breathing. Only the bliss.

Then when I can, I step back again. I identify with the One, with Shiva. I have become Him; He looks out through my eyes.

I remember who I am. I remember.

I have no form, there is no space or time. I made all... to play.

Lord you are sweet bliss. The sighs of many contentments. I am on a journey to experiencing this truth: that we are One. You have called me home.

A new compassion

"Being one with everything is called Great Compassion."
~Venerable Master Bhikshu Heng Tso

I have a new, immediate and deep feeling of compassion for people who are suffering. There were layers over my heart that have slipped away.

I pray for those who have lost so much.

I also recommend donating to the Red Cross if you can. The Red Cross is the largest relief agency in the world. They help earthquake and flood victims, refugees from violence in North Africa, as well as those in many other places who need to somehow find home and safety again.

Prayers for Italy

I am thinking of and praying for the sweet members in the human family who have lost so much, and those who are working so hard after the tragic earthquake in Italy, as well as all people displaced and homeless due to war and strife and flooding.

Can you feel the love of home?

That magical feeling, of floating over the last hill before home.

The place that I love best, near or far, goes with me everywhere, here in my heart.

My home is always here... watching myself roam.

Can you feel the love of home?
