Dec 7 2016 (excerpt)
There is extraordinary energy available now for spiritual practice and transformation.
For me, this has been one of the most powerful experiences of the last few weeks: realizing that in the midst of the [political] upheaval, there is a current of Shakti that seems to be directing our attention into the heart.
When we follow the direction of that current, rather than letting ourselves be derailed by emotions, we recognize that we are being asked to get deeply centered. Then, any action we take comes from the very center of our own deep wisdom."

Sri Yantra
The Sri Yantra is a mystical diagram formed by nine interlocking triangles that surround and radiate out from a central (bindu) point. It is worshiped as a form of the divine in Hindu tantra, which is based on the Hindu philosophy of Kashmir Shaivism.
The Sri Yantra expresses Advaita or non-duality, which includes the union of the Masculine and the Feminine Divine. Four upward triangles represent Shiva or the Masculine, which is potentiality, while five downward triangles symbolize the female embodiment of Shakti, from whom all creation is made.
Together the nine triangles are interlaced in such a way as to form
43 smaller triangles in a web symbolic of the entire cosmos or a womb
symbolic of creation. The triangles are of various sizes and intersect with one
another in various ways, creating three-dimensional patterns. In the middle is the power point (bindu), visualizing the
highest, seeming elusive center from which the entire figure and
the cosmos expand.
The Yantra is a way to express the form of the divine, but also serves as a vehicle. It moves the gaze and consciousness of the viewer into the center, where all consciousness as multiplicity resolves back into the One.

The watcher
I rejected the world, I turned away. The burden of illusion fell, the burden of thinking I was holding it all up.
I rejected the world, I turned away.
I walked away, I stopped being attached to it all, how things turned out. I am not afraid that any of it can hurt me, can touch me at all.
But now I turn back... and there is nothing to shun. I am perfectly still inside, and all of of this is the intelligence of God.
I am done with my part in that play. I am the watcher. It is all consciousness.

Grace... remember
For the first time, I have gone for weeks without posting. I do have other online projects that I have been taking a little vacation from as well.
My guru has been supporting an ecstatic chanting tour in Australia with her intention and shakti, and of course, all of her devotees have been receiving an amazing outpouring of her grace and bliss.
A part of these times of plenty is to learn how to hold the shakti, to be steady in mind, to practice discrimination, and to remain in the now, where I can experience my guru and her shakti as one with me and paramashiva.
Predictably, I thought I had reached a new level of attainment. I'm still learning this lesson!!
Next time this happens, I have to remember: It is all guru's grace. She is teaching me with her grace. Follow her grace to the guru and the source.
Claiming grace as attainment is not the way to be with my Beloved.

Follow the Shakti to Shiva
It is hard to explain in words where I am going, and how I await myself there.

First off, I finally feel that realization is inevitable. I am spiraling into myself. I no longer hold on, invest in the play of maya. I smile, I am sad, it is all so beautiful, and it is passing away. Soon I will be with my Beloved. This is my last lifetime. It just is.
I know now why "moody" music has been my favorite all my life. It is the soundtrack of return to God, saying farewell, a poignant goodbye, a poignant hello.

I realized today that kriyas aren't just purification, or even just communications from Shree Chiti Shakti. She is moving my body, and that is how everything is, really. Made from her, moving as her.
When I have a kriya, it is Shree Kundalini showing me, right now, that all of this is shakti, I am shakti, I am merging into Shiva. Where they are one, that is my true state.
A profound realization, experience. Follow the Shakti to Shiva.
"When you enter in the state of energy, and leave your individual state (you have not to enter in the state of energy for always), you have to throw off the individual state and enter in the energy to enter in the universal state in the end. Because unless you ignore, [throw] off, your individuality, universality will not rise, universality won’t take place." ~Swami Lakshmanjoo
This gave me chills. This is new, and it's real to me now. Every little realization, recognition, fills me with bliss. Sweet bliss.
Many times a day now, a little touch of grace reminds me, and I take a moment to concentrate, to follow my dharana into a new state, which lasts for up to a minute.
I slip back the half step into the me that is universal, blissful, and not identified with my ego or body, or place in time. All around me is supreme intelligence at play, a moving painting, painted with light, which is consciousness.
This is new, a new place I go... where the grace leads me. Guruji...
It is always grace, I know now. My ego tries to figure out how these "attainments" apply to me. No luck, not anymore. My mind starts to flutter, then I caress it back into place. Be still. Remain still.
How? It is always grace.
"No matter which intensity of Lord Shiva's grace is with you, it will carry you to His nature in the end." ~ Swami Lakshmanjoo

The path is Shakti, not Shiva
The path is Śakti (energy); the path is not Śiva. (Vijnana Bhairava verse 20-21)

nirvibhāgena bhāvanā /
tadāsau śivarūpī syāt
śaivī mukhamihocyate // 20 //
When you enter in the state of energy, and leave your individual state (you have not to enter in the state of energy for always), you have to throw off the individual state and enter in the energy to enter in the universal state in the end. Because unless you ignore, [throw] off, your individuality, universality will not rise, universality won’t take place.
So you have to enter in the state of energy first, śakti avasthā praviṣṭasya; then afterwards yadā nirvibhāgena bhāvanā bhavet, when you feel that undifferentiatedness comes in your consciousness–undifferentiatedness between energy and the holder of energy–tadāsau śivarūpī syāt, at that very moment, this sādhaka, this bhāvanā [contemplation] becomes one with Lord Śiva.
So the path is Śakti; the path is not Śiva (śaivī means Śakti). Energy is mukham, the path is, iha, here, ucyate, explained. Energy is the real path you have to tread.

O dear Pārvatī, just like with the light of your candle or torch, dīspasya ālokena, by the light of your torch or candle, or by the rays of the sun, all the differentiated points of deśa, space, are known, are understood, in the same way Śiva is being understood by Śakti, by his energy. Energy is the means by which you can understand and enter in the state of Lord Śiva.

37. The sense here is that this sadhaka (the aspirant) through contemplation with one-pointed awareness (bhavana) becomes one with Lord Shiva (Bhairava). [Editor's note]

Great intelligence
I am not in charge here. Everywhere I turn, the illusion that I am making things happen is dissolving away.
I think my hands are on the steering wheel (of life), even though my life never adjusts in the direction I intend.
I now see a great intelligence in everything I view and experience. This intelligence unfolds everywhere, inside of me and out.
This intelligence is God, my beloved Paramashiva. He doesn't just experience this vast play of His consciousness, he inhabits it as the intelligence that creates it, moves through it, arises and dissolves as everything in every moment.
Situations simply unfold. It is the great dance and bliss of my Lord's intelligence as Devi Shakti.
And I am not in charge.
PS My cat sleeps two-thirds or more of each day. He does this because of "instinct." I see intelligence. How do successive generations of monarchs know how to migrate? This is intelligence, (Your intelligence, Maheshwar...)
